    Fill in our short form. It takes around two minutes. Tell us what area of advice you're looking for, a bit about your situation, and how you'd prefer to meet your adviser (in person, by phone, or video call).

  2. We find your match

    We review your enquiry and identify the best adviser from our panel for your specific situation. We consider specialism, location, communication style, and availability. Not just who's free first.

  3. Meet your adviser

    We'll introduce you by email and your adviser will reach out to arrange a free initial consultation. This is your chance to ask questions, get a feel for how they work, and decide if you'd like to proceed. No pressure.

  4. Get the advice you need

    If you're happy to proceed, your adviser takes it from there. They'll carry out a full fact-find, prepare a personalised recommendation, and work with you at a pace that suits you. Any fees will be agreed upfront, in writing, before any work begins.

Is the matching service really free?

Yes. Edinburgh IFA charges nothing to use the matching service. Advisers pay a referral fee if a match leads to an ongoing relationship, but that never influences who we recommend to you.

What if I don't like my match?

Just let us know. We'll find you a different adviser. There's no limit to how many times we'll rematch, and no obligation to proceed with any introduction.

How are advisers vetted?

Every adviser on our panel must hold current FCA authorisation, carry professional indemnity insurance, and pass our own suitability review before we make any introductions.
